Design
Last week I designed business cards for my dear friend Rebecca Wall.
I'm really proud of how they came out.
I'm going back to school for design.

Happy Mothers Day!
Every year for mothers day I buy my mom a flat of flowers and we plant them together. This tradition started when I first started driving on my own I usually go and pick out the flat of flowers the day before, however this year i decided to take her and let her pick. We went to our favorite nursery and spent about two hours picking and choosing the perfect flat.. which turned into 3 perfect flats. The best thing about this new tradition is that once have the flowers we plant them together. I don't think either of us would be able to think of a better way to spend mothers day weekend together. I can only hope that when i have children I can be half the mother my mother is.

This past weekend was a weekend I have been planning for a very long time. Annie Leibovitz was speaking at Syracuse University. I'm sure most people would be blown away to hear her speak, but for myself I think it was especially meaningful. Ironically I didn't take many photos this weekend. But I did have a chance to take some photos of Kassy and her art. Kassy is one of the most talented, creative, amazing people I know ... SO with that being said everyone should go to her website and buy some of her prints.

Dad
A few years ago my dad lost his wedding ring at work, It fell down a drain. After that he felt so bad he NEVER took it off so he would never lose it again. Last year he had a stroke, they told him he had to take his wedding ring off for X-rays and he said he couldn't ... Not because he didn't want to but because he hadn't taken it off in so long his finger was growing around it. Needless to say they had to cut it off. My mom bought him a new one. Still he NEVER takes it off.
