This past weekend was a weekend I have been planning for a very long time. Annie Leibovitz was speaking at Syracuse University. I'm sure most people would be blown away to hear her speak, but for myself I think it was especially meaningful. Ironically I didn't take many photos this weekend. But I did have a chance to take some photos of Kassy and her art. Kassy is one of the most talented, creative, amazing people I know ... SO with that being said everyone should go to her website and buy some of her prints.

A few years ago my dad lost his wedding ring at work, It fell down a drain. After that he felt so bad he NEVER took it off so he would never lose it again. Last year he had a stroke, they told him he had to take his wedding ring off for X-rays and he said he couldn't ... Not because he didn't want to but because he hadn't taken it off in so long his finger was growing around it. Needless to say they had to cut it off. My mom bought him a new one. Still he NEVER takes it off.

5d Mark II

So after years of debating... I have finally switched to canon. After months of contemplating I decided on the 5d Mark II. I have to say I am beyond thrilled for my new set up. I'm still figuring a ton of stuff out, But I am beyond excited to start this years wedding season with the camera and lenses I decided on. I've spent the past few days shooting photo & video & this is what i've come up with...
